Windows Backup and Restore

2

Using Windows 7 backup utility you can create restore disk, backup image, and file backup. Once you set your backup schedule, Windows 7 takes it from there. Protect your data!

There should also be a file with a name that matches your computer name. The media.bin file is basically just a text file that windows uses.

Using Windows 7 I just did a backup of my files to my external drive. It took about 2hrs. When finished I went into my backup drive and Windows 7 created a file called MEDIAID.BIN and it shows to only be 1kb file. So where did my backup go? The backup file should be very large.

    Any help is appreciated.
